Trinity Episcopal Church

In 1851 villagers formed several church congregations. Eastchester’s St. Paul’s Church provided services in private homes. In 1856 John Stevens was a lead voice for a new Mount Vernon Episcopalians church. In 1857, three adjacent lots between Third and Fourth Avenues were donated. In 1859 the church was completed and dedicated as Trinity Episcopal Church.
